Fun with Totes! I have a friend doing wonderful things with fabrics here in Iowa. She works at a furniture store and is able to collect upholstery fabric samples when the companies discontinue them. Not only does she save these fabrics from cluttering up the landfill, she turns them into beautiful bags and totes as well.
Some are big enough for diaper bags or craft totes.
She uses a combination of fabrics, patterns, and accessories to create beautiful details.
She can also make custom designed bags with all the specifications you want. Because they are recycled fabrics, she can’t always be sure what colors and patterns she will have available, but they are always unique and creative!
